“ Yummy brunch at The Pony Room! We ordered the fried rice Mexicali with lobster and shrimp and the blackened swordfish sandwich with a small Caesar salad. We sat on the dog friendly patio and the service was excellent, always filling our water glasses and very friendly. The restroom also has a changing table. The restaurant is inside a larger spa resort but you can go without staying. Beautiful property and recommend! ”
“ Absolutely wonderful Father’s Day brunch at The Pony Room. Every bite was phenomenal, but the cinnamon roll is a must-get. ”
“ We went here for brunch this past Saturday for my mom and my aunt's birthday. I cannot express how amazing our service was! Everyone who worked there was so hospitable and really accommodating and helping us that everything set up and have a really nice celebration. What I like about Pony room and never gets completely full, so they put us in a nice space near the window with a bench next to us where we could put all of our gifts and belongings. I should add there was nine of us! So fairly good size large party. Our server Alex was super tentative to make sure all of us had her water and drinks while waiting on food. We started off with chips and guac and cinnamon rolls. The food was better than I remembered! Definitely one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had, they are extra large so definitely order one to share with at least two other people. The chips for the guac were fresh crispy and perfectly salted. We all loved our food as well although we are running out of space from the appetizers. I ordered the prime rib dip, which I hardly made a dent in but took home in a box. Honestly, I love the pony room. It's such a nice, elegant, and tasteful vibe. The service is 10 out of 10, and so is the food! Great spot for a celebration or just simply coming for weekend brunch! Also valet is complimentary if you're dining at the pony room! ”
“ Very nice place in Delmar, every time I go there I ordered their oatmeal, extremely tasteful and they’re steak and eggs are also great. I come here weekly or every other week. I highly recommended. ”
“ Where do I begin? It’s a culinary experience. From your first bite of the Focaccia bread, it’s a precursor for what’s to come. Every bite is full of many flavors home grown just steps away in the resort’s garden. It’s truly a 10/10 experience that I’ve only found at this resort. I ordered the Rancho Burger. It was the perfect temp, the tomatoes were delectable, the cheese was rich, and the bun was soft and sweet. To top it all off, we ordered the Cookie skillet. It comes with thick whip cream that you can’t get anywhere else, and the skillet itself is a fantastic combination of a warm cookie with the caramel drizzle draped over the creamy scoop of vanilla ice cream that’s so good, it won’t leave your mouth. The ambiance and service is also sublime, it just feels right at home. They’re even accommodating for your furry friends with a bowl and a bed. The Kardashians could eat anywhere, but they still have chosen here. It’s in a league of its own ”
“ The service was off the charts in this beautiful spot. We came for a birthday happy hour and ate a tapas that were all really delicious. I’m a sober girlie and they had tons of mocktails which was fun for me to enjoy with my girls for happy hour! The crab cakes were next level and they were gluten free! ”
“ We stayed at the Rancho Valencia and ended up having most of our meals at the Pony Room. Having had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here— I can confidently say the food is high quality and super delicious. We’ll definitely be back! ”
“ There's a high end, and there is the Pony Room. Located at the Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa. Spanish style central courtyard, terrace and interior bar seating. Service is impeccable. Cayetano from Oaxaca Mexico took good care of us. The food was somewhat innovative and completely excellent. The bar specializes in tequilas and mescals. Well worth the price. Complementary valet parking and they will charge your ev too. ”
